SQA is now Qualifications Scotland but they could still be the team for you!
As we power into 2026, the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) now Qualifications Scotland as of 2 February is excited to offer their enthusiastic volunteers to community projects across Glasgow. Flexible and available weekdays (Monday to Friday), our volunteers are based in Robertson Street, city centre, and can travel across Glasgow to support your initiatives. Whether your group prefers larger teams, smaller groups, or individual volunteers, Qualifications Scotland can adapt to your needs.
Qualifications Scotland is keen to get involved with volunteering opportunities that connect to our corporate values. All initiatives supported by Qualifications Scotland align with the following areas:
- Young people and social inclusion
- Enterprise and employability
- The environment and sustainability
- Human health and well-being
They are happy to help with a range of activities, including:
- Outdoor clean-ups or community gardening
- Tree planting
- Improving or decorating community spaces
- Running mock interviews or CV sessions for young people
- Assisting food banks or pantries
- Supporting events or workshops
We’re sorry, but since we support a designated corporate charity, Qualifications Scotland volunteers are not able to participate in fundraising activities.
