Volunteering over the festive period 🎁

It is fantastic that the festive period has inspired you to think about volunteering, however there are often a lack of opportunities available at this time as organisations will close for the holidays and many organisations that provide support services for homeless people have already told us they don’t need any more help as any services they plan to offer are well-supported by their existing volunteers.

You might want to consider making donations to foodbanks or charities helping vulnerable people. You could get creative and do your own fundraising or donation drive locally with family and friends.                                                                                      

Remember that volunteering isn’t just for Christmas: you can find lots of opportunities right here all year round that might only need a few hours of your time: search all live opportunities.
