Help the Hospice – Volunteer as a team, sorting donations for charity shops.

A brilliant opportunity to volunteer with a team, of any size, and at any time of the year.

The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice (PPWH) receives a wide variety of donations to their depots at Eurocentral Scotland in North Lanarkshire and Swan Street in Glasgow, which then need to be sorted and sent out to charity shops across the city.

Emily from PPWH: “From stock collection and preparation to identifying items for sale on eBay or other on-line platforms.  Your team will assist in the grading of newly donated and recycled merchandise, to help ensure a consistent supply of quality items meets our shops requirements with the goods being sold throughout our network of shops within the local community and the importance of raising funds through our community of shops, with all proceeds coming back to the hospice to fund patient care.

Could you provide a team of volunteers to help? All of the profits from PPWH charity shops go towards providing care for 1200 new patients and their families every year.

No special clothing or equipment required, and Emily will make sure your team are well-provided with refreshments throughout.
