Organisation Support Ebulletin – February 2024
Welcome to our Monthly E-bulletin for February – keeping you informed with the latest news, updates and information from Volunteer Glasgow’s Organisation Support team! If you have something relevant to Volunteer Managers that you want us to include in the next e-bulletin please let us know.
Advertising Workshops & Networking Events
We’re hosting three events in February for volunteer managers and coordinators to learn and connect!
Our popular Volunteer Opportunity Advertising Workshop will take place online on Tuesday 20th February at 10:30. In this free session, you can learn how to improve the effectiveness of your volunteer advertising, make your volunteer recruitment adverts more engaging and inclusive, and meet other volunteer managers.
The session takes place online over Teams – you don’t need a Teams account to join the session!
Then, we’ll be hosting Networking Events (both online and in-person!) – these are a great opportunity to meet and connect with other volunteer managers and coordinators, share tips and advice, or just catch up with colleagues.
The in-person Networking Event is generously hosted by Byres Community Hub at Clarice Pears Building, UofG School of Health and Wellbeing, on Thursday 22nd February at 10am.
The online event will take place over Teams on Tuesday 27th February from 10:30 – 12:30. You don’t need a Teams account to join the event.
