Online Networking for Volunteer Managers & Coordinators
Join Volunteer Glasgow for our popular online networking session and connect with Volunteer Managers from across Glasgow, as well as colleagues working at a national and local level.

Inclusive Volunteering Fair 2026 – Spaces Still Available!

Smarter Volunteer Management – update
The remainder of our 2026/27 Smarter Volunteer Manager (SVM) Programmes are now fully booked. New SVM Programme dates for 2027/28 are currently being planned and will be released soon, so if you are interested in taking part, please look out for these new dates.
Anyone already on a waiting list for one of our 2026/27 programmes will be contacted directly and given priority to book onto one of the new 2027/28 cohorts before places are opened more widely.
Volunteering Taster Sessions – Become a Taster Provider
Volunteer Glasgow is developing a pool of organisations able to offer volunteering taster sessions to groups taking part in supported volunteering programmes between now and March 2027 – and we’d love your organisation to get involved.
We will be delivering three separate programmes and each will include three volunteering taster sessions. This means we’re looking for organisations to provide a total of nine taster sessions across the three programmes.
How it works
Organisations can get involved in one, two or all three programmes, depending on your capacity and availability. If you’re able to take part, you would provide one taster session per programme you are involved in.
We’re creating a pool of taster providers so that, when programme dates are confirmed, we can contact you to check your availability and arrange a suitable session.
What we’re looking for
Taster sessions should:
- Last around 1.5–2 hours
- Give participants a practical and engaging taste of volunteering
- Include a brief introduction to your organisation and the volunteering opportunities you offer
- Include an activity that allows participants to try something, learn or develop skills, and build confidence
Sessions can be tailored to suit the type of volunteering your organisation offers. Interactive and hands-on activities are particularly welcome.

A £60 payment will be provided for each taster session to help cover planning and delivery costs.
By joining our bank, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your organisation, introduce people to volunteering and potentially connect with future volunteers.
