National recognition for adults volunteering?
Is there a need for a national scheme to better recognise everyone over the age of 25 that volunteers to support public and third sector organisations making Scotland fairer, healthier, and smarter?
In partnership with Voluntary Action Scotland, the national network of Third Sector Interfaces (TSIs) and with support from the Big Lottery Fund, we ran three national online surveys earlier in the year followed by a series of 21 workshops across 15 local authority areas in Scotland.
The vast majority of survey respondents said there was a need for a national scheme and told us what it should look like.
