Volunteering Charter evaluation report published
Launched following endorsement by Glasgow’s Community Planning Partnership in 2016, the Charter was designed to enable Partners to reap the rewards of involving more people interested in supporting their work by volunteering in well-managed roles.
Phase 1 of the Charter aimed to test this new programme by supporting Partners and selected Third Sector organisations to achieve the shared strategic objectives of:
- Increasing the number of appropriate volunteering opportunities.
- Making opportunities more accessible and inclusive.
Glasgow Centre for Population Health (GCPH) has conducted a process evaluation of the Charter (phase 1) and has recommended that we roll out the Charter with some minor changes on the basis of Partners’ feedback.
A big thank you to everyone that helped with the evaluation.
