Charter Launch – videos and slides
We’re delighted to be able to share the following subtitled videos and presentations from the launch of phase 1 of Glasgow’s Volunteering Charter on 8th June.

Bernadette Monaghan, Volunteer Glasgow’s Chief Executive, and Councillor Archie Graham OBE, Depute Leader of Glasgow City Council and Chair of Glasgow Life, welcomed everyone to the City Chambers, giving an overview of the importance of volunteering to the city and outlining our ambitions for the Charter:

Lorna Kelly, Associate Director at Glasgow Centre for Population Health, presented slides on #WhyVolunteeringMatters – Benefits for Health:

Films highlighting the following organisations’ volunteering programmes were also shown at the Launch:
- The InS:PIRE programme at Glasgow Royal Infirmary’s Intensive Care Unit
- Derek Holliday from Glasgow Homelessness Network’s Navigate programme
- Host City Volunteers at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games
