Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer for this opportunity.

About this opportunity:

To help stop bowel cancer it is vital that we raise awareness throughout our local communities. One of the ways we do this is through our Health Promotion volunteer programme, which operates throughout Scotland.

If you or someone you know has been affected by bowel cancer, you can become one of our awareness volunteers and give bowel cancer awareness talks to community groups and workplaces in your area. The talks raise awareness of signs and symptoms, risk factors and screening, as well as highlighting the volunteers own experience.

Bowel Cancer UK recognises the great support and achievements of our current volunteers in Scotland, and we invite you to join our valued team.

Our next volunteer training day takes place on Tuesday 12th December.
