About this opportunity:

We are looking to recruit Self-management Facilitators for Glasgow, Inverclyde and North and South Lanarkshire.

As a Self-management Facilitator you will support the delivery of the Living Well with MS programme, specifically the facilitation of the Self-management courses.  You will be a part of organising, planning and facilitating courses in your local surrounding area.  We need you to get involved and help make positive changes to the lives of people living with MS.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a large charity, develop your existing skills and learn new ones.

You'll have an interest in the MS Society and the work that we do, as well as the enthusiasm to represent both us and our values locally.

Frequency & Commitment: Each course runs over 2 session, 4 hours each.Pre-course planning 2-3 hours.Evenings and weekends required.

Skills, experience, or qualifications required: Good organisation and communication skills, Approachable & friendly, Can maintain confidentiality, Ability to act as an ambassador for the Society, A good team member, Able to keep people's personal data safe, Good IT skills and comfortable using internet and email, Living with MS, Comfortable with speaking to groups of people

Training & Support Details: Training in course material, facilitation skills, Sharing your experience safely and appropriately, Complete a six session training course
