About this opportunity:
We are looking for volunteers who are interested in helping to lead and pass on their skills to others at a community allotment in Dalmuir. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good gardening/allotment skills to pass on their knowledge, skills and experience to other volunteers from different backgrounds. The Allotment Assistants will be responsible, with guidance from WDCVS staff, for the planning, planting, tending, etc of seasonal fruit and vegetables at the allotment.

Group/Organisation aims: To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of West Dunbartonshire and in particular the advancement of education, the furtherance of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress by the promotion of the voluntary sector within the area so that the conditions of life of the aforementioned inhabitants may be improved.

Skills, experience, or qualifications required: Basic gardening skills, a good level of fitness, ability to delegate tasks and being able to work as part of a team. Previous experience of an allotment/garden is desirable but not essential.
