Garden Ninjas Required – Team Challenge!!

leverndale hospital

Teams looking for a real gardening challenge may be interested in this request from Leverndale Hospital!    There are three main areas for around Ward 3A  all requiring a lot of digging, ground breaking, re-turfing, weeding,  flower planting, painting of garden furniture, sweeping and renewing surfaces.  If you and your team could do anything at all to help out Elaine would love to hear from you.

The grounds at Leverndale can provide a theraputic outdoor environment for patients so your contribution of time will really make a massive difference to them.

If you and your team of up to 10 volunteers are available around 21st September, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Teams will be required to wear protective boots, goggles, and masks.  These can be provided by the hospital but ideally volunteers would provide their own footwear in order to ensure good fitting.  Refreshments will be provided.

Public Liability insurance is in place and a full risk assessment has been undertaken.  Teams will be required to adhere to the volunteering policies of NHS Leverndale Hospital.

If you are interested in learning more please contact Elaine by completing the form at the bottom of the page.
