Mentor Young Runaways

From October 2012 Aberlour Childcare Trust’s Runaways Service is seeking volunteer mentors aged 18 or over to support vulnerable young people who may be at risk of running away or have already done so. Mentors will be matched with a young person and meet with them for a couple of hours a week  to set goals, plan fun activities and build a trusting relationship.

This is an excellent opportunity to get training in, and experience of, supporting vulnerable young people and volunteers will be fully supported throughout their time with the project.
