PEOPLE UNITE! Build massive sculpture!

French Artist Olivier Grossetete along with charity UZ arts, are looking for a large number of people to get involved in building a massive cardboard tower sculpture on Glasgow Green as part of the 2018 European Championships Glasgow.

The sculpture will be made from cardboard bricks created in sessions at The Briggait Glasgow, between, Sun 29th July – Thurs 2nd August, 9.30- 1pm and 2- 5.30 pm, please choose a session, you can do more than 1 session. 30 people max in each session.

Construction of the sculpture is on Friday 3rd August from 10pm – 5pm at Glasgow Green. No limit on numbers. They need about 150 people!

You won’t want to miss the finale of the Toppling of the building will happen on Saturday August 4th at 4pm at Glasgow Green.

This is a great opportunity to be part of something imaginative and unusual this summer. Meet new people or why not even bring the family. Children as young as 9 years can get involved (9-12 year olds should be accompanied by parent or carer). Click here to find out more …
