Help run a world event
Now here’s one for the CV! – and/or for those who’d like to be ambassadors for Glasgow! Help deliver a large successful event and meet people from all over the world. The Haemophilia Society is holding its World Congress at the SEC from 20 – 24 May and they expect 4,500 people to attend. They really need some local support to help with guiding people around the SEC, helping with door/pass scanning, helping with events and logistics, handing out newspapers etc. The opportunities start the week before the event (from 14 May). If you speak any other languages that would be extra useful – it’s going to be a real mix of people.
