Thousands of people each year contact
the Volunteer Centre for information about volunteering
and community action opportunities in Glasgow. But there
are also scores of organisations looking for volunteers.
To ensure prospective volunteers are able to consider
your organisation's volunteering opportunities, you need
to give us the information they need. We cannot guarantee,
however, that prospective volunteers will choose to pursue
your opportunities.
By registering as an organisation with us, we can advertise
your volunteering opportunities free of charge through
the Volunteer Centre, you can choose to receive information
and news bulletins on volunteering issues by post and/or
email, and you will be supplying the information we need
to help us continue developing our services to meet your
needs.
Step 1 - Register your organisation by downloading
the form in pdf format or in Microsoft
Word (.doc) format - you only need to do this once
(if you would like to receive news/info-bulletins from
the Volunteer Centre but do not wish to advertise any
volunteering opportunities at present you should complete
this form only). Once completed please post or fax it
back to us here at the address at the bottom of this page.
If you have Microsoft Word and complete this version of
the form, please print it off and sign it
before returning it to us.

Step 2 - Register your volunteering opportunities
by downloading
the form (pdf format) or in Microsoft
Word (.doc) format. Call us if you want help or further
information - we will arrange to visit you and complete
the forms together. You need to complete one form per
opportunity - so that volunteers can more quickly and
easily find the opportunities that interest them, and
we can get a more accurate idea of the demand for volunteers.
Please download and refer to the accompanying
guidance notes (pdf) to help you. Fax or post completed
forms back to us, ensuring that you have signed
the declaration.

Step 3 - Keep us informed. Please let us know
if your opportunity is no longer available. There is nothing
more frustrating for a potential volunteer than to offer
their services to an agency that no longer has a need
for them. We will check the information we hold with you
annually and you can add or remove opportunities at any
time.
