Improved and streamlined opportunity advertising

Any volunteering opportunity advertised by Volunteer Centre Glasgow will now be returned to potential volunteers in searches on volunteerglasgow.org in addition to volunteerscotland.org.uk

We are confident that this new service, developed in line with feedback from potential volunteers and partner agencies, will prove a simpler, more intuitive method of searching for opportunities. Potential volunteers will be able to identify suitable opportunities more easily and we believe that this will lead to an increase in the numbers of people contacting you to express an interest in your opportunities.

The same opportunities will appear in search results on both websites but using different search panels.

Further improvements on volunteerglasgow.org are planned including ‘advanced’ search options.

Our volunteerglasgow.org blog posts will continue to highlight your new, event/one-off, and urgently required opportunities to RSS feed subscribers including third party websites (such as Caledonian University Employability Centre), on social media sites Facebook and Twitter, and are unaffected by this development.
