Help Rebuild Lives!

2016/17 has been a busy year for Positive Action In Housings’ Lifeline Service.  1,205 destitute and potentially destitute families, lone men, women and children (88 children) have depended on this service.  This service is a last resort for refugees and asylum seekers while they wait for Home Office documents or outcomes of judicial reviews and lengthy legal appeals.  The support continues until they have  their required documentation when they can then begin to rebuild their lives.

Winter is the hardest time for everyone.  It’s even tougher when you are alone in a different country and many miles away from your loved ones.  Your support can make all the difference.

We need volunteers, pledges of spare rooms and financial donations.  Can you help?

Our Winter Surgery is running for two days on December 20th & 21st.  This surgery helps those in need to find a warm place to sleep and hot food to eat.  Can you help?

Do you have a spare room you could offer to a refugee or asylum seeker over Christmas and New Year.

Can you help with a small donation to meet the costs of keeping people warm during the cold weather?
