How to get the most out of your Volunteer Centre

This free ˝ day action-planning/networking workshop will demonstrate useful tools for organisations/groups like yours to assess their own volunteer management practice and to generate individual action plans for progression and development. We will introduce a tried and tested Best Practice Guide developed by North Glasgow Volunteering Activity Group; the national Volunteer Friendly Award; the new improved (and still free) volunteer opportunity advertising service; other support and advice available from your VC; and share ideas/advice on your burning volunteer issues.

The workshops are for people that have some responsibility for involving/managing volunteers and you can book a place on the one that suits you best:

• 29th Sept (in the West) at 9:15am;
• 5th Oct (in the South West) at 9:15am;
• 5th Oct (in the North) at 6:15pm;
• 7th Oct (in the South East) at 6:15pm;
• 12th Oct (in the East) at 9:15am.

Venues will be advised when reserving your place.

You’ll have an opportunity to follow up this workshop and review your action plans at a future event some four to six weeks later (dates tba).
