There are a number of inititiatives within Glasgow, aimed at providing assistance and support to the disabled.

The Wellbeing Initiative - Training project for adults with a physical disability in Administration and office skills. Also operates a Health and Disability Information Service.

Priesthill Volunteers and Disabled People - Project providing support to local people with a physical or learning disability. Also recruits volunteers to work within project.

Greater Pollok Carers Centre - Project offering support, information, advice and training to carers and their families living in the Greater Pollok area.

West Glasgow Carers Centre - Project offering support, information, advice and training to carers and their families living in the North and West of the city.
